2007 Dallas White Rock Marathon Aid Station at Mile 16

We sponsor this aid station each year at Sunset Bay at White Rock Lake.  We love to have a big group doing this, like 40-50 volunteers.  We supply breakfast for our volunteers.   Afterward, we clean up and head home.  In the past, we've found a club volunteer who was willing to bring out a grill and we would have hamburgers and hot dogs for our volunteers.

Volunteer Hours: about 6 am to about 12:30-1 pm

Duties of the volunteers
* Mix the Gatorade
* fill cups with Gatorade and water
* hand the cups out to the marathon runners and walkers
* see the elites as they fly by
* most importantly - cheer the runners and walkers on to victory!
