Our runners regularly use White Rock Lake. DRC strives to give back and helps clean the lake during these spruce-ups. Our territory is from the first parking lot just to the north of Sunset Bay and then running south to where Emerald Isle would extend down to the shore.

When: Second Saturday of each month from 8-10 am, although if you want to do your run first and then help out, that's fine too

What: Currently led by member Jerry Siedschlag, we are looking for someone to take over for him at the end of the year. Coordinated through the organization For the Love of the Lake.

Anyone voluteering two consecutive months receives a free t-shirt from FTLOTL. We clean not just the shoreline. We also clean everything in back of it including a small little creek that goes from the shore and up and over toward Winfrey.

The main contact person must attend an annual training seminar, conducted on a Saturday morning at FTLOTL headquarters (corner of Buckner and Garland Rd).
