Local Hit by Cyclist while Running on Running Path

On April 5, local runner Hank Garrett was running and hit by a cyclist on the running path. There were actually 2 cyclists who came up behind him and were going too fast to stop. One of them ran over Hank. He broke his collar bone and is scheduled for surgery on April 10. He also had to have multiple stitches on his face. The cyclist did stop to aid him and saw to it that Hank got home.
