2009 Club Race Calendar

The Club races are typically scheduled the first Saturday of the month starting at 8:00 am. The list below tells more about each of the runs scheduled in the near future. The atmosphere is informal but detailed results are tabulated. Members run free (non-member fee is $10) in races marked with an asterisk.

All club members participating in club races are encouraged to set their sights on the City Championship Series!

• Frigid 5K/10K*
  Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Winfrey Point
  This is also used as a time trial for the spring training program - half marathon participants do the 5K distance and full marathon training participants do the 10K distance to properly determine pace groupings.

• Independence 5K/10 Fun Run and Training Program Time Trial *
  Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Winfrey Point
  Race Director: Stephanie Hill and Chris Stratton
  This is also used as a time trial for the fall training program - half marathon participants do the 5K distance and full marathon training participants do the 10K distance to properly determine pace groupings.
