There will be live entertainment along the course to entertain you. Afterwards, join us for a post-race party complete with food, beer, door prizes and music!  First 1200 participants in the 5 Mile or 10 Mile event will also receive a technical shirt (sizes subject to availability).  

Proceeds from the race will benefit: For the Love of the Lake and the White Rock Lake Foundation.

From the intersection of Buckner Blvd and Garland Rd, go south on Garland Rd for 0.6 miles. Take a right on Emerald Isle (Barbec’s restaurant is there at the turn) and go approx. 0.5 miles. Take a left on Winfrey Point Drive at the dead-end, just past the ball fields on your left. The building at the top of the hill is Winfrey Point. 7:00 am – Registration and Pre-registration Bib Pickup open 

7:45 am – Registration closes – You will not be included in the results if you arrive after this time!

8:00 am – Race Start (starts down the hill on the lake side)

9:00 am - Entertainment: Codger at Winfrey Point (circle drive in front of Winfrey Point)

9:30 am – Kids’ 1K Race (in the grassy field, behind the baseball field/parking area)

10:00 am – Awards

Top 3 finishers in the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. 

Top 3 finishers in Athena (women over 155 pounds) and Clydesdale (men over 195) category. You are not eligible for age group awards if you participate in the Athena/Clydesdale category. To participate in Athena/Clydesdale, you must check the check box during the registration process. You can not be added to that category later.

Kids’ Crafts and 1K Race

Age group awards for top 3 girls and boys for age groups 1-7 and 8-12.  Participant ribbons to all runners.  We'll be doing a fun craft as well.  This event is free to all kids.  Participants in the kids 1K will not receive shirts.  Parents, please pre-register your kids (in family memberships, they have their own log-in info; or register them as non-members) online so that we can better plan awards and crafts.    Parents are welcome to join us for a warm-up before and cool-down after the race.
