This is a 4 mile race on an out-and-back course.

Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake

From the intersection of Buckner Blvd and Garland Rd, go south on Garland Rd for 0.6 miles. Take a right on Emerald Isle (Barbec’s restaurant is there at the turn) and go approx. 0.5 miles. Take a left on Winfrey Point Drive at the dead-end, just past the ball fields on your left. The building at the top of the hill is Winfrey Point, where registration, merchandise sales, and the awards ceremony is held. Race Day Schedule
7:00 am – Registration and Pre-registration Bib Pickup open
7:45 am – Registration closes – You will not be included in the results if you arrive after this time
8:00 am – Race Start (starts down the hill on the lake side)
8:15 am – Kids’ crafts (up in the Winfrey Point building)
9:00 am – Kids’ K Race
9:30 am – Awards

Members: FREE!
Non-Members: $10

Registration
You can register online until Wednesday, June 4 at 5 pm.
There will be race day registration.
If you pre-register, go to the Pre-registration table, NOT the regular registration.
Expired members will need to renew their memberships race day morning or pay the non-member entry fee.
No mail-in pre-registration.
Awards
1st overall male and female
1st masters male and female
Top 3 finishers in the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
Top 3 finishers in Athena (women over 155 pounds) and Clydesdale (men over 195) category. You are not eligible for age group awards if you participate in the Athena/Clydesdale category. To participate in Athena/Clydesdale, you must check the check box during the registration process. You can not be added to that category later.
Kids’ Crafts and 1K Race
A craft table will be set up around the time the race is starting at 8 am. Then, the Kids’ 1K Race will take place around 9 am, after most parents have finished to be able to watch and cheer on their child during their time in the spotlight!
Timing
Pulltag timing is used.
Merchandise
We will have club merchandise available before and after the race.
We have DRC cotton t-shirts, runner hats, sport sacks, tech shirts, and DRC decals.
